I am a Public Health Advocate because I believe health is the foundation of strong, thriving communities and directly shapes individuals’ ability to learn, grow, and succeed. My background is in counseling and working in higher education where I focus on holistic, student-centered support. When communities face barriers to healthcare, housing, or mental health support, those inequities limit educational attainment, career opportunities, and overall well-being. Recognizing the deep connection between public health and student success has fueled my commitment to advancing health equity and advocating for meaningful, systemic change.
