Support Senate Bill 976 to Protect Kids from Social Media Addiction
Through a combination of the content they encounter and social media replacing or competing with other activities, many young people describe social media as a major contributor to depression and anxiety.
Public Health Advocates is sponsoring Senate Bill 976, which will prevent social media platforms from sending addictive feeds to minors without parental consent and help provide parents with the tools they need to protect their kids from social media addiction.
This bill’s fate will soon be determined in the California State Legislature, and we are raising money to bolster our support for it. Will you donate to our cause? Every donation, no matter the size, can make a significant impact in safeguarding our children’s mental health.
Let’s come together and make a difference for the wellbeing of our youth!
