Public Health Advocates hosted its first ever community trauma conference on November 20 – 21, 2019. Over 250 people attended the “Rooted in Community: Moving from Trauma to Healing” conference in Long Beach, California. The conference, featured keynote speaker Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, and focused on addressing the root causes of community trauma and promoting healing.
