Commissioner Vasquez is a Colombia native with over 10 years of public affairs and intergovernmental relations experience in New York, Washington DC, and California. She has been a strategic partner in helping bring energy efficiency programs and community solar programs to Los Angeles residents. She recently worked alongside the city of Los Angeles and the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign, whose aim is to make L.A. coal free by 2025. In addition, she helped establish the Feed & Tariff Initiative, the largest rooftop solar program in the country. She has dedicated her career to environmental justice and preserving our most precious resources.
