I am a Public Health Advocate because I believe in being a part of something bigger than myself, and to be a vessel that speaks for those whose voices are not being heard. In speaking to the sociological and socioeconomic issues that many are facing in various communities, one can lend a hand to help many become healthy and whole physically, psychologically, and spiritually. The extended hand to help people through compassion and empathy brings about change and transformation in the process of advocacy, public policy, which leads to a systemic restructuring on political platforms. This approach reaches the very core of the heart and soul, and points to the needs of the people. E Pluribus Unum…I am one of many.
