I am a Public Health Advocate because I have witnessed the impact that racism has on public health. I believe it’s all of our responsibility to ensure people everywhere, especially those in marginalized communities, have access to everything that they need to thrive. Through racially informed policy change, we can help communities identify their needs and find the resources required to close the gaps. As a public health advocate, it is my goal to find creative communications strategies that support policy change and educate communities on dismantling systems of oppression.
