
Public Health Advocates is partnering with Brita to help local churches in Stockton combat diabetes. The campaign kicked off last Sunday, June 5th where 3,000 water-filter pitchers were made available at black churches throughout Stockton.
“We really want to focus on people drinking more tap water,” said LaCresia Hawkins, a program manager with Public Health Advocates. “It’s something they’re already paying for.”
