Diving Into Drinking Water: Equity, Safety and Access – June 19, 2018
May 9, 2018 Public Health Advocates

Safe, clean drinking water is a human right in California, but it continues to be inequitably distributed and inaccessible for too many people, with devastating consequences to our health.

You’re invited to participate in this critical convening of great minds and powerful organizations to ensure that all conversations about water in California include a focus on health and health equity. We will bring together water districts, advocates, researchers, educators, public health workers, policymakers and businesses to discuss cutting-edge strategies for ensuring all communities in California have safe, affordable and accessible water.

  • Water Equity: Water as a Basic Human Right
  • The History of Water in California: Where We Have Been and Where We Are Going
  • Access to Safe Drinking Water in School and Communities
  • Rethink Your Drink: Drink Water, Not Sugar
  • First Annual Health Champion of the Year Awardee: The Gasol Foundation

Please check back for updates.

Let’s come together to ensure water access and promote water consumption in every community in California and beyond.
