Join us in Sacramento to support healthy food and physical activity environments in California and tell legislators that investing in health and safety now will benefit all Californians! ENACT Day focuses on learning and advocacy in the state capital as Californians come together to advocate for health equity.
April 18, 2018 – 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
The California Endowment – Sacramento
1414 K Street, Ste. 100
Sacramento, CA 95814
Registration Opens February 1st
Apply for a scholarship here.
ENACT Day is FREE and a great opportunity for community members, grassroots organizers, and advocates to develop their policy advocacy skills. All you need to bring is your passion, and an optional donation! Spanish interpretation, breakfast and lunch will be provided!
During ENACT Day 2017, the MAINTAINING OUR GAINS, LEADING TOWARD THE FUTURE statement was shared during each of our 60+ legislative visits, directly with legislators and their staff. Legislative leaders have expressed their enthusiasm for this shared statement and we hope to hear from them as they seek support for the kinds of ideas articulated here.
We encourage you to share the statement and this event, along with your experiences at past ENACT Day events, with your partners and allies who want to join the movement!
See you in April!
